How does the church function, really?

How does the church function, really?

This post has been re-titled and transferred to my book,

Food for the Table: Christ our Real Food.

The book will be released mid to late January 2023, and you will find the links to purchase on ‘My Books’ page.

Food for the Table: Christ our Real Food is a collection of some of the best posts from Drawing From the Well, spanning from 2014 to end 2022. The idea behind it is to provide the reader with some tasty morsels to share around the dinner table; to aid in the ongoing discovery of the vastness of Christ and God’s eternal purpose together with other saints.

Contents include poetry, prayers, spiritual and scriptural insights, life lessons, and encouragements to the body of Christ.

The book will be made available on Amazon in print and ebook form, and Google Books in ebook and audiobook.

You will find the appropriate links here on ‘My Books’ page.

      1. Love these analogies, both so rich and beautiful. Encouraging us to function within the body, and also exhort others to function within the body. It really is all about Christ, and how wonderful that the Holy Spirit is free to move through each of us while we still somehow function as a single flock of birds, or as a church. It’s miraculous and beautiful.

        1. Thank you for your comment sis! I’m glad you see the same richness! He is amazing in His corporate body, indeed!

  1. Yes it is! The wonder of it all, and such a joy to watch this true body-life in action, from gathering to gathering and in between (24/7). Beautifully written, thanks Donnalee.
