Reviews on Ebook & why I want it to be FREE

Hey there, readers.

Well, Amazon.com.au (Australia) is still listing my eBook To The Young Believer as $0.99c AUD, although I am working hard on getting it changed to FREE, to match Google Books, though I am not sure I will succeed. It may be an ever changing/adjusting price according to Amazon’s discretion. However, Amazon in other countries now has it listed for FREE. So, if you are outside of Australia, you should be able to purchase it FREE through Amazon in your country.

I have now created an Ebook page on the Main Menu on my site (click here) to provide easy purchase. You will find there, that it is ALSO AVAILABLE FREE in PDF form for anyone at any time.

Some folks say that if you put something out for free, people will not consider its value, and therefore that at least some price should be asked for, no matter how small. I totally get where they’re coming from. However, there are some things that God asks us to make freely available.

I have eaten spiritual meat over the years that was made freely available to the body of Christ through other saints and authors and some who have long ago left this earth. I’m sure you have too. I wonder what would my life be like if they had not made their services/ministry/writings freely available? I may never have found them, may never have paid for them, and would subsequently be far worse off.

As to the spiritual value of my eBook, that is up to the Lord and for others to determine, not me. But I am truly grateful to those of you who have written reviews on Amazon.com and Amazon.com.au so far. A five-star rating and review increases the visibility of the book and helps others find what they’re looking for. So if you are also happy to write a review on either site, I would be most grateful. You can also send reviews to me at totheyoungbeliever@gmail.com because at some stage I would like to include some in a second edition.

Here are some reviews already posted on Amazon;

Reading this book is like going to my gran’s house for roast dinner. What are the similarities? I loved going to my granny’s house for a Sunday Roast with Yorkshire pudding and steamed veggies because 1. I was fed delicious and nutritious food that I did not prepare, 2. I felt steeped in love and care, and 3. my gran who knew and understood me would drop distilled wisdom and the truths into my heart that I didn’t know I needed. I have been a Christian for many years but I’m on chapter four and I feel some truths that have floated in and out of my mind for years have been distilled and put before me in the most delicious meal which is feeding my soul and comforting my heart. Our lives are all about Jesus but what does that mean? Well this book is laying it out for me and inviting me to trust Jesus, rest in Him, gaze upon His face, and enjoy getting to know Him in all His glory – Nicola, Australia

How to follow Jesus 101. I believe I would have been spared many years of fruitless wanderings in my Christian walk if someone had discipled me early on with the beautiful and simple message found in the pages of this little book. Donna gently strips away the brambles of misconception and tradition and presents the young (and not so young) believer with a clear and practical guide to a fruitful Christian life. – Mike, Australia

A Fresh Perspective and Essential guide for new Christians. I am in the last chapters of this book which I can only describe as a must read for new believers. Although the book is largely aimed at teens, the treasure hidden in these pages offers any new Christian a loving and clear guide in which to begin exploring their new life In Christ. I have been a Christian for years, and have found fresh explanation and imagery here for my own journey, and deeper truths to share with others. Spiritually inspired, and Highly recommended! –  Clementina, Australia

Wish I had read this book as a young believer! To truly appreciate why Jesus said, “You must be born again!”, one must first understand what it is that we’re supposed to be born again into? In her new book, To the Young Believer (which I have read twice), Donna Batty, backed by many years of Head/body life in Christ experience, wisely answers this age old question. We’re born again into Christ, a Person, not a religious system! Newborn Christians, who would otherwise slip through institutional cracks, should be provided with a field guide, if you will, that they can refer to in tandem with their Bibles; a map to help them maneuver their way into Christ by His life in them-both individually and especially corporately. With the warm, tender and sometimes firm tone of a loving mom ( or mum) in Christ, and the application of some powerful illustrations to provoke the sanctified use of the imagination, along with very practical exercises; Donna Batty helps provide such a guide. In case you are not a new believer, please don’t let the title To the Young believer put you off. Without giving anything more away, there are vertical (from the Godhead in Christ to us) and horizontal (from the Godhead in Christ to one another) aspects of this precious book that strongly resonated with me; irrespective of having been a Christian for 31 years. To the Young Believer is a beautiful expression of Father God’s heart-reflected back to us-concerning His children being conformed to the image of His Son, as the brethren of Christ. I seriously recommend that you prayerfully read this book and practice the exercises, preferably with at least one other believer. And as you do, may Christ, as the Spirit of truth, be in your midst to help guide you through it to reap its rewards in Him. – Julio, United States.

I thank you saints, for participating with me in this glorious Christ.
