Recently we had some wonderful saints visit us from Perth and we enjoyed a day at the local markets. There I purchased some yummy tomato relish. God is so amazing how He speaks to us, just look at this stunning label!

There is a great harvest party mentioned in the book of Revelation, described as the marriage of the Lamb. Some versions call it the wedding feast or banquet, or supper.

‘Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb’ (Rev. 19:9)

The Lamb marries His bride, which of course is His church. And the church is God’s great harvest at the end of the ages. What a harvest party that will be!

On that great and glorious day, all things will be summed up in Christ the Son, as depicted in this image of the sunflower placed as a banner over the harvest party.

And this is the plan: At the right time he will bring everything together under the authority of Christ—everything in heaven and on earth. (Eph. 1:10)

Oh Lord our God, we relish in Your son! We are like the tomato relish in this jar, we are Your harvest brought in and placed inside of You, under Your banner of love; You who are the sun of God’s radiance and Son of His love.

All things summed up in You!

You are the Lord of the harvest!
